Russian forces launched five guided aerial bombs at the Sumy community on the morning. One of the strikes hit near a multi-storey residential building.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
"The enemy directed five guided aerial bombs at the Sumy community this morning. Another strike on a residential area. There was a hit near a multi-storey building," the statement said.
According to him, at least five people were injured. Preliminary reports indicate that two of them sustained serious injuries.
All the consequences of the enemy attack are currently being clarified.
