Water Pressure Drops on Kyiv’s Right Bank After Power Voltage Dip

Stable water supply will be restored once power supply is normalised.

On the right bank of Kyiv, water pressure in the mains network dropped on the morning of 8 October. This is due to a drop in voltage in the power grid.

Kyivvodokanal specialists, together with power engineers, are working to eliminate the disruptions. The Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) reported this.

The drop in pressure in the water supply network is being observed, in particular, in the Holosiyivskyy, Svyatoshynskyy, Solomyanskyy and Shevchenkivskyy districts. In some buildings, a temporary interruption to water supply is possible.

Stable water supply will be restored once the power supply to water facilities is normalised.

  • This morning, emergency power cuts were introduced in Kyiv, so the schedules are not in effect. The disruptions in supply are linked to Russian attacks on the energy sector.
