In Zaporizhzhia, Sunday 11 October has been declared a day of mourning for those killed in a Russian air strike.
This was reported by Mykhailo Semikin, acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
"11 October in Zaporizhzhia is a day of mourning. This morning, the Russians took people’s lives. Among them were children," the official wrote.
Semikin expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed.
- As of now, the Russian air strike on Zaporizhzhia has left 11 people dead, three of them children. A further 16 people have been injured, including children.
- Two of the injured are in a critical condition, while most of the others are in a moderate condition. Medics are doing everything possible to help everyone.
