In Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district, 20 people were killed and another 37 were injured as a result of Russian attacks.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Region Defence Council.
Overall, over the past day Russian forces carried out 904 strikes on 51 settlements across the region.
The occupiers carried out 27 air strikes on Zaporizhzhia and a number of settlements in the region. 616 drone attacks of various types were also recorded, mainly using FPV drones.
Russian forces also shelled settlements 35 times with multiple launch rocket systems and carried out 226 artillery strikes.
As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure facilities were damaged. In total, 272 reports of such damage were received.
- Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs on 10 October. Impacts were recorded in a five-storey residential building. There are reports of fatalities and many injured.
