On 16 October, a drone crashed and exploded in Moldova’s Dondușeni district. The incident occurred outside a populated area.
This was reported by Moldova’s Ministry of Defence.
The circumstances of the drone’s crash are currently being investigated. There is as yet no information about its origin or the consequences of the explosion.
The ministry urged citizens not to touch or move unknown objects or drone debris. If such items are found, the relevant services should be notified.
- On the night of 16 October, four drones violated Moldova’s airspace. Drones have repeatedly entered Moldova. Recently, one aircraft crashed and exploded in the country, although at the time no airspace violation was recorded.
