Overnight, Russia used 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones against Ukraine. As a result of the Russian strikes, there are dead and injured, and hits have been recorded, including in Kyiv.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on social media.

The number of people injured in yesterday’s evening strike on a university campus and the surrounding area has risen to 12. Five of them are students and staff of the educational institution.

Russia carried out a second strike with ballistic missiles while emergency services were still assisting the injured and dealing with the aftermath of the first attack.

Zelenskyy also reported hits in Kyiv, including on the Southern Bridge. In his assessment, the Russian attacks indicate a significant intensification of the campaign against Ukrainian logistics.

The Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Kherson and Chernivtsi regions also came under attack.

As the President noted, the main targets of Russian attacks in various regions were energy, logistics and urban infrastructure facilities.

"Artificial and prolonged delays in the supply of interceptor packages for the "Patriots" and "NASAMS", which unfortunately have been happening recently, directly help Russia achieve the goals of its terrorist campaign. Every such delay means another Russian hit on one facility or another," the head of state stressed.

The President called for increased pressure on Russia and for Ukraine to be provided with real support, including the timely delivery of the necessary means of protection.
