As of 22:00 on 26 October, 185 combat engagements had taken place. The most fighting was on the Pokrovsk sector.
According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out 48 air strikes and dropped 155 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 6,385 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,007 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors since the start of the day, the occupiers carried out one air strike, used two guided aerial bombs, and launched 37 attacks on the positions of our troops and on populated areas, two of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector the enemy attacked the positions of our units six times towards the settlements of Volokhivske, Okhrimivka, Shabelne and Chuhunivka. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.
On the Kupiansk sector the enemy tried three times to improve its positions, conducting assault operations towards Radkivka. Fighting continues.
Seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled on the Lyman sector towards Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi and Lyman. One attack is ongoing.
On the Sloviansk sector the Defence Forces stopped three attempts by the invaders to push forward in the area of the settlements of Ozerne, Kryva Luka and Mykolaivka. One enemy assault action is ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk sector the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
On the Kostiantynivka sector the Defence Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults: in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Vilne and Kucherovyi Yar. One enemy assault action is ongoing.
The enemy carried out 25 attacks on the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vilne, Sviatohorivka, Svitle, Myrne, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka and Filiia. Three attacks are ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 45 occupiers were eliminated here today and five were wounded; six vehicles, one specialised piece of equipment and four shelters were destroyed. Four vehicles and 40 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 146 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
On the Oleksandrivka sector the enemy carried out one attack towards Piddubne.
On the Huliaipole sector the Defence Forces repelled ten enemy attacks towards the settlements of Rizdvianka, Vozdvyzhivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke and Charivne. Fighting continues.
On the Orikhiv and Dnipro River sectors the occupiers did not conduct assault operations.
No significant changes in the situation occurred on other sectors.
