KT-2 tactical FPV interceptor drones, developed by the Ukrainian-Japanese company Kurin Technologies, have become available on the Brave1 Market marketplace. Defender Media reports this.
Two versions of the unmanned aircraft are available on the platform: the KT-2 DD, fitted with a digital camera for daytime use, and the KT-2 DT with a thermal imaging camera. According to the manufacturer, both variants are tactical interceptors designed to engage aerial targets, including UAVs such as the Orlan, the Zala Lancet and the Supercam.
According to the stated specifications, the drones’ tactical range reaches 20 km, maximum speed is 220 km/h, and flight endurance is up to 30 minutes. The unmanned aircraft can climb to an altitude of up to 5,000 metres.
The interceptors were developed with frontline operational experience in mind. The company says these unmanned aircraft have already successfully intercepted targets in real combat conditions. Their distinguishing features are said to be simplicity and rapid deployment, and the design has been adapted for mass production. The commercial launch of the interceptors took place at the end of April 2026.
The price of the KT-2 DD with a daytime camera is more than 44,000 hryvnias, while the KT-2 DT variant with a thermal imager costs 73,000 hryvnias. Both models can be purchased under the e-Points programme.
As a reminder, in September the Japanese company Terra Drone acquired 50% of the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Kurin Technologies for $3.5 million. Terra Drone plans to combine Kurin Technologies’ experience in developing and deploying interceptors with its own AI-based autonomous control technologies, mass-production capabilities and international deployment experience.
