Police officers from the “White Angel” special unit evacuated two 73-year-old women from the border Seredyna-Buda community in the Sumy region.
This was reported by the Sumy Region National Police.
Despite the constant threat of shelling, officers were able to reach the women and organise their departure from the dangerous area. A volunteer from the Seredyna-Buda community also joined the evacuation.
Police are urging residents of settlements that are under the constant threat of Russian shelling not to delay evacuation. It is especially important to ensure the safety of elderly people, who may need assistance from others.
