Ukrainian forces have carried out strikes on facilities belonging to Russia’s military-industrial complex and air defence in Russia’s Rostov Region. The Kamensky plant was hit, along with two air defence system assets with a combined value of about $70 million.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
“Our long-range sanctions are in the Rostov region. The Kamensky plant has been hit — an enterprise of Russia’s defence industry involved in missile production,” the head of state said.
According to him, Ukraine’s long-range capabilities struck the Russian defence industry enterprise Kamensky, which is involved in missile production.
In addition, the strike hit a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile-and-gun system and a command-and-control vehicle of the S-400 Triumph air defence system.
The president estimated the total value of the air defence assets hit at approximately $70 million.
“I thank the SBU warriors and other components of the Defence Forces for their accuracy! We are justly defending ourselves against Russian aggression and doing everything to reduce Russia’s ability to continue it,” Zelenskyy stressed.
- On the night of 1 November, strike drones of Ukraine’s Defence Forces hit the LUKOIL-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Region. After the attack, a fire broke out on the plant’s premises.
