Between 1 and 7 November, the Russian army lost 16,130 troops. This is the highest weekly figure since the start of the full-scale war. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The General Staff noted that, in practice, each day Ukrainian defenders neutralise a number of Russian troops sufficient to form an average motor rifle regiment.

"The figures speak for themselves: on average more than 2,300 occupiers each day, or almost a hundred every hour," the statement said.

The General Staff explains these losses by saying that Russia’s command continues to send troops into assaults, while Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to resist Russian aggression.
