One Ukrainian serviceman has been killed and four wounded in action in Donbas over the past 24 hours, a spokesman of the presidential administration for the antiterrorist operation (ATO), Col Andriy Lysenko, has said.

Four fire attacks were registered at night in the Luhansk sector. Mortars were used in two of them.

For the first time in the past several weeks, the enemy did not use artillery in the Donetsk sector. Nevertheless, heavy mortar fire continues, including in Troyitske, Novoselivka Druha and Avdiyivka. After 5 p.m. the enemy launched a massive fire attack in the industrial zone of Avdiyivka. The engagements lasted for over six hours. The militants launched their attacks from their positions along the Yasynovata-Yakovlivka line. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian troops have registered 15 militant attacks in the Donetsk sector, including nine with the use of heavy guns.

In the Mariupol sector, the militants widely used infantry fighting vehicles and mortar along the entire frontline. The hottest engagements took place near Maryinka and Dokuchayivsk where the Ukrainian army had to return fire. Over the past day, 17 fire attacks, including five with the use of mortars, have been registered in this sector.

On Saturday, 25 June, the militants launched 130 mortar bombs and over 100 artillery shells in 55 attacks. Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.
