The Ukrainian parliament's corruption prevention commission shall establish a parliamentary group to develop a draft bill on the transparent work of Ukroboronprom, the state-owned defence contractor company.

"We have agreed that a group of MPs will visit the company to check its contracts for corruption. Secondly, we will create an initiative group to work out a bill to oblige Ukroboronprom and the Defence Ministry to make all their contracts public. This is an international practice and we need a law to introduce such a practice in Ukraine," MP Yehor Sobolyev from Self-Reliance told an LB.ua correspondent on 23 November.

It will not be easy to take the bill on declassification through parliament, Sobolyev: "I think we are in for a big fight, but there is no other way."
