The questioning of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych as a suspect in the case of five Berkut riot police officers accused of killing 48 activists of the Euro-Maydan protests in February 2014, which was due to be held at 1300 Kyiv time today, has been postponed until 28 November.
The hearing was adjourned because the Lukyanivskyy remand centre, where the officers are held, is being blocked by activists holding the flags of the Right Sector movement.
The Kiev Svyatoshynskyy district court was to interview Yanukovych by video conference with Rostov-on-Don, Russia where Yanukovych has been hiding after he fled Ukraine following the Euro-Maydan antigovernment protests.
