US give Ukraine $ 37.5mn to combat AIDS
The assistance will be provided through the US President's Emergency Plan.
The United States intend to provide Ukraine with 37.5mn dollars for the fight against HIV/AIDS, the Health Ministry's Public Health Centre said on 1 March.
Assistance will be provided through the US President's Emergency Plan to assist in the fight against HIV/AIDS (PEPFAR).
This decision was taken in the course of consultation and discussion of country operational plans for 2017 (COP 2017) held 20-24 February in Washington.
In 2015, Ukraine's Ministry of Health won a lawsuit against a provider of medicines for HIV/AIDS patients.
