Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in combat in Donbas on 30 September. According to the evening update by the antiterrorist operation (ATO) HQ, two of them were wounded as a result of pro-Russian militants' fire attack on the southwestern suburbs of Avdiyivka and another one was wounded near Pisky.

In the Mariupol sector, the situation was tense near Vodyane where militants fired grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on three occasions. They also targeted ATO strongpoints near Bohdanivka and Shyrokyne.

Apart from violating the ceasefire, the militants are blocking efforts to restore the infrastructure of Donbas.

"At the moment, emergency protection dam fortifications at the phenolic plant in Novhorodske and gas pipeline branches in Maryinka and Krymske require urgent repairs. These facilities are located directly near the line of contact. If repairs are not held, this may escalate the humanitarian situation and poses a risk of soil contamination on both sides of the line of contact," the ATO HQ press centre said.

Four servicemen were wounded in Donbas on 29 September.
