The Ukrainian parliament on Friday examined the draft resolution to revoke the approval of healthcare reform and rejected it.
Only 45 MPs backed the resolution.
The vote removed the last obstacle to signing bill No 6327 "On State Financial Guarantees for the Provision of Medical Services and Medicines".
Speaker Andriy Paruby could not pass on the bill until the draft resolution is considered.
The bill introduces state guarantees for the payment for medical services and medicines provided to patients from the state budget based on the "money follows the patient" principle.
Parliament is yet to pass amendments to the Budget Code concerning healthcare reform (No 6604) and vote on bill No 7117 improving the accessibility and quality of health services in rural areas.
