MP Serhiy Sobolev, who is one of the leaders of the Fatherland party, suggests introducing in Ukraine a norm according to which any transaction in the country must be registered within 24 hours.

Speaking at a round table conference in Gorshenin Institute on 22 December, Sobolev said it would be a revolutionising novelty.

"We shall forget that in order to be issued a passport, we need a certificate on the state of the family of a certificate on this or on that. With nationwide unified registries, such data instead all these certificates should be obtained by state clerks," Sobolev stress.

This will be a "revolution of consciousness", Sobolev said.

"And this will mark a new beginning, when everyone realizes that it is the end of the red tape and corruption. I believe the best reforms are on the surface," said Sobolev.
