Hungary has renamed the post of government representative for Transcarpathian Region, which once caused fierce resistance in Ukraine. The Hungarian Justice Ministry published the resolution on this in its official newsletter on 29 October, according to Yevropeyska Pravda.
Istvan Grezsa's post now is “the authorized minister responsible for the development of cooperation between the Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg county and Transcarpathian Region, as well as for coordinating the programme of children’s educational institutions of the Carpathian region.”
The name of the post is now not about the development of one region, but about cooperation between two neighboring border regions.
According to Yevropeyska Pravda, Hungary in fact returned the name of Gresza's post, which existed before this spring, having added the function concerning children’s educational institutions in Transcarpathian Region.
