PM unhappy about "digital discrimination" in Ukraine
Volodymyr Groysman

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said there is no proper Internet access in a number of population centres in Ukraine.

"Internet access is a fairly intermediate indicator but I think that it is very objective. There is digital discrimination in the country because we have 3G and 4G in big cities but small communities do not have access to the basic Internet. If we do not have access to the Internet, we have not ensured conditions of equal access for all to new knowledge, new services, and new opportunities," he said at a local self-government forum.

Groysman suggested both state and local authorities should focus on this problem.

In May, Groysman criticized the quality of 3G signal and ordered an inspection of mobile communication providers.
