Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has become "a murderer not only of Ukrainians but of Russians as well." On his Facebook page, Reznikov said that "more than 40 hours of repulse against the Russian occupiers proved that we have the most powerful army in Europe and fearless people. We already knew that. Now everyone has seen it and started to realize it."
"Our defenders - men and women - are changing the attitude to Ukraine in the world every minute of their heroic struggle. This increases support. Ukrainians are now fighting for the future they have long deserved - both their own and of the whole Europe. We will definitely win!" - stressed the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
Alexei Reznikov also addressed the people of Russia, "wives, mothers, girlfriends of Russian soldiers and officers.
"In a few days of the intervention in Ukraine, as many Russian servicemen will be killed as in two Chechen wars. Thousands ... We know that young boys are being drafted into the army all over Russia. We are aware that they are preparing to transfer conscripts without minimal combat skills; that contractors haven’t been told where they are really going and what is awaiting them. Hide your loved ones if they are dear to you. Do not send them to certain death! They will be killed from every window in every Ukrainian city,” emphasized the Minister of Defense.
He called on mothers and wives of the Russian military to go out to the streets and demand an end to the war and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
"Don't be afraid! The truth is on your side. Now you can change everything so that you don't regret it later. When all the information about the Kremlin's war crimes is revealed, your relatives will be very grateful to you," Reznikov added.
