Latvian Deputy Prime Minister Artiks Patrix has offered the West to grant asylum to all Russian soldiers who surrender to Ukrainians. He tweeted the idea.

"I have just received a proposal on how to stop Russian aggression. The West is announcing that every Russian soldier who surrenders to Ukrainians will be granted asylum by the West! I think this is a triumphant idea by artist Aigars Biksha”,- said Patrix.

To recall, Latvia closed the airspace for Russian airlines and stopped issuing visas to Russians due to military aggression against Ukraine.
