Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine knocked down Russian IL-76 with landing troops on board near Vasylkiv (Kyiv Region)
This was informed on the official page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
"Our Air Defense Forces knocked down IL-76 with enemy landing troops on board close to Vasylkiv. This is the revenge for Luhansk 2014. Death to enemies!”, - says the message.
IL-76 can transport up to 145 soldiers.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine made public the statistics of enemy losses from the beginning of invasion into Ukraine and up to 15:00 (25th of February, 2022). From the beginning of open full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine the army forces of the country-invader experienced the following losses (approximately): tanks - around 80, armored fighting vehicles of different types - 516, airplanes - 10. helicopters - 7, military personnel - 2800.
