First Lady of the United States Jill Biden appealed to Americans, including the military and their families, over the situation in Ukraine.

"Joe and I continue praying for the brave and proud people of Ukraine. Our hearts are with our troops and military families, including those deployed throughout Europe, showing solidarity with our allies. We are sincerely grateful for your service," she wrote on Facebook.

Jill Biden noted that today many "feel the weight of what is happening in Ukraine in recent days."

"Parents with children sit in front of the TV and explain reports for thousands of miles. Teachers stand in front of classrooms and answer the questions "why" and "what's next?". Our military families are well aware that what is happening in Europe can have a major impact on the future of their loved ones in military uniform," she said.

The first lady of the United States stressed: "At this difficult time, there are no simple answers, and this can cause feelings of insecurity. It is normal to ask for help". Jill Biden urged Americans in need of psychological help because of the war in Ukraine and the situation in the world not to hesitate to seek advice and services from special centres.
