The military, law-enforcement authorities and territorial defense units continue to defend the capital, building fortifications in the city. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko spoke about this during a briefing on February 28.
"Kyiv continues to defend itself. Our military, law enforcement and territorial defense units continue to detect and neutralize armed intruders whose groups are in the city. They are building fortifications in the capital, putting up restrictive blocks near strategic enterprises and institutions", Klitschko said.
The mayor of the capital noted that the curfew at night continues to operate.
"There were clashes and shootings again at night. Our fighters, in particular from the Terrorist Defense, neutralized and captured several sabotage groups. I will remind, for the sake of safety of Kiev we introduced a curfew. Do not go outside at this time. You can leave only if, at the signal of the air alarm, you go to the shelter, "Klitschko reminded.
