For now, Russia hasn’t achieved any of the aims in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainians fight back in all directions, but the harsh battles still continue.
At the moment, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy managed to begin the interception of the military initiative, as reported by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov on Facebook. “It’s the fifth day of heroic battles. Our soldiers, territorial defense, and the whole sector of security and defense are fully mobilized. The Ukrainian military authorities under the command of the Commander-in-chief managed to begin the process of intercepting the military initiative,” he noted.
According to him, the plan of Russian invasion was built on the principles of their nazi predecessors. The plan involved blitzkrieg advance into the territory, destroying the critical infrastructure, and blocking big cities such as Odesa, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Melitopol, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv. Also, they planned to ruin logistic chains using sabotage-reconnaissance groups, cause panic and chaos, and carry out special operations to eliminate the country’s leaders.
“The main idea of Putin’s invasion plan was to capture Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and create a puppet government controlled by the RF. For today, none of these orcs’ aims have been achieved. Ukrainians fight back in all directions. But harsh battles still continue. In this respect, I’d like to draw your attention to the fact that the issue of information counteraction is of critical importance in the wartime,” Danilov points out.
The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council emphasizes that at the moment, one of the critical problems for the Moscow military authorities is hiding the real number of casualties of the invading army. The numbers are rising all the time. It is becoming more and more difficult to hide them.
“This is why one of the main tasks of Ukrainian information counteraction is providing the fullest possible information to citizens of Russia and relatives of Russian soldiers about the real situation and number of casualties and captives. Our goal is to stagger the enemy on their territory and raise the protest spirits inside the RF to the maximum level so they realize the necessity of stopping the war. We should fight in the information field with all possible means of influence: through communication with acquaintances and relatives who live in Russia, social networks and popular Russian public pages; creating disconcerting videos and text content and delivering it to Russian soldiers; and working with national republics of the RF,” he insists.
Also, Danilov assures that we can acknowledge: “Ukrainian national mobilization and response to the aggression is becoming bigger and stronger each day, and with each day, we are getting closer to our final victory”.
