In 100 hours of the war, enterprises of the state concern “Ukroboronprom” handed over to the Armed Forces and National Guard of Ukraine a significant amount of equipment and ammunition. This was announced by the General Director of the concern Yurii Husev.
Among it, the Ukrainian defenders received:
- Military equipment, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and armored vehicles - more than 50 units.
- Special vehicles, trucks, and cars - 45 units.
- Mortars and grenade launchers - 574 units.
- Other weapons of various systems and calibers - more than 170 units.
- Missiles - about 600 units.
- Other ammunition - 105 thousand units.
- Explosive devices - 12 thousand units.
According to Yurii Husev, in addition to assembling and repairing our equipment, the concern is also ready to repair trophy equipment. This was already agreed upon with the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On February 26, the USA allocated $600 million to Ukraine for defense.
Since the beginning of Russian aggression, several countries have provided Ukraine with military support. Among them is Germany, which previously refused to sell weapons to Ukraine and blocked the possibility of NATO procurement.
