Over 200 pieces of Russian hardware destroyed on approach to Kyiv

As of 2 p.m, February 28, Ukrainian defenders destroyed and damaged more than 200 units of enemy equipment from the direction of Irpin - Zhytomyr highway.

This was announced by the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, on-air, on Nastoyaschee Vremya.

“If you only knew how we have been sweeping them since morning near Kyiv," Arestovych told the channel.

He added that during the negotiations with Russia that are happening right now, Ukraine demands the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from its territories, including Donbas and Crimea.

“We will bury everyone anyway,” Arestovych stressed.

Military, law enforcement officers, and territorial defense forces continue to keep the defense of the capital and are erecting fortifications. The columns of Russian troops tried, repeatedly, to storm the outskirts of Kyiv, but their movements have been under control. Right now, the situation in the capital is controlled. Members of sabotage and reconnaissance groups are being cleared from the city, so there are street fights.
