German truck manufacturer Daimler Truck is terminating all the kinds cooperation with Russia's largest heavy truck manufacturer PJSC KAMAZ. This was reported by Liga with reference to Handelsblatt.
Daimler Truck stated that no trucks will be delivered to Daimler Kamaz Rus joint venture, nor will parts for the Russian Kamaz be supplied. It was also reported that the car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, a subsidiary of which Daimler Truck is, is analysing the possibility of selling its 15% stake it hold within the Russian auto giant company.
Russia's KAMAZ is listed in EU sanctions list, which includes a number of industrial companies, due to Russia's military aggression in Ukraine.
Earlier, Norwegian energy company Equinor announced the cessation of new investments in Russia. Also, the world's largest manufacturers of processors Intel and AMD have stopped supplying their products to Russia.
