The hacker group known as Anonymous, who declared war on Russian President Vladimir Putin, recorded an appeal to Russian citizens.

The video began to appear on the Net.

"Greetings, citizens of the Russian Federation. This message is from Anonymous. We have been following the situation in Ukraine for a long time and we see how Russian soldiers are killing civilians. We will act decisively and mercilessly towards the citizens of Russia. You don’t want to change the government. You don’t go to rallies and don’t defend your rights.

“It means you are on the same side with the bloody power of Putin. Therefore we have prepared a special operation for you. Your government is preparing to use your money to destroy a large country. We will not allow this," the statement said.

Anonymous stated that their actions have already caused great damage to Russia and warned of a new "largest in the world" cyber attack.

"Citizens of Russia, on March the 3rd, 2022, all money will be debited from your bank accounts and transferred in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A large-scale cyberattack on the infrastructure of the Russian Federation is also being Implemented...

"Otherwise, you will be left without money. We are not bandits like President Putin. We did not start this war. We just want to restore justice in the world. We are Anonymous. We are legion. Wait for us," the hackers said.

Earlier, Anonymous recorded the personal message addressed to Putin. They called on him to stop attacking Ukraine, and threatened serious consequences if he fails to do so.

On the 26th of February, Anonymous hacked the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and leaked the database information containing telephone numbers, email addresses and names of employees that appeared on the Internet.
