The press service of the Kharkiv City Council reported that due to the shelling of Kharkiv by the Russian army, 87 residential buildings were destroyed.

The houses were damaged:

  • in the Industrial district: Biblik, Velyka Kiltseva, Serhiy Hrytsevets, and Myru streets.

  • in the Kyiv district: Saperna, Natalia Uzhviy, Druzhba Narodiv, Trufanov, Shevchenko streets; Akademik Kurchatov Ave.

  • in Moscow district: Poznanska, Valentynivska, Buchmy, Heroiv Truda, Svitla, Academic Pavlov, Les Serdyuk streets; Traktorobudivnykiv Avenue

  • in the Nemyshlyansky district: Amosova street

  • in the Kholodnohirskyy district: Zolochivska, Velyka Panasivska, Samodiyalna streets.

  • in the Shevchenkivskyy district: Novooleksandrivska, Balakierva, Derevyanka, Klochkivska, Novgorodska, Otakar Yarosh, Sumgaitska, Starytskoho, August 23 streets; Ludwig Svobody, Nauki, 23 Serpnia avenues.

Earlier, the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that, according to the latest data, 11 people were killed in Kharkiv after attacks by Russia.

Today, 28 February, Kharkiv was subjected to a massive hailstorm by the Russian occupiers. The head of the regional state administration said that the city had been repelling the occupiers' attack all night and destroying vehicle columns on the approaches to the positions. Currently, the city is under the control of the Armed Forces. A curfew was imposed in the region from 3:00 pm on Monday, 28 February, until the morning of Tuesday, 1 March.
