The press service of the State Migration Service of Ukraine reported that under martial law, it has temporarily suspended the work of information and communication systems of the agency and the provision of administrative services.

Suspended services include:

  • issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and delivery of manufactured documents directly to territorial bodies

  • pasting a photo into the passport of a citizen of Ukraine upon reaching 25 and 45 years of age.

Everyone who is on the territory of Ukraine must have the following identity documents:

  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of a card or booklet;

  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad.

Foreigners and stateless people need the following documents:

  • permanent residence permit;

  • temporary residence permit;

  • refugee certificate;

  • identity card in need of additional protection.

The possibility of exchanging identity documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine or the special status of a person is limited for the period of martial law.

"Persons can present a document that has expired or that has not been photographed in time as an identity document," the migration service added.
