RBC-Ukraine with reference to the mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko informed that there was no light or heating left in Mariupol due to the shelling of the occupiers.
"With the onset of the first rays of light, we will begin to restore electricity," he said. "We will start boilering rooms. We will continue making flour and producing bread. We will carry medicines and rescue the wounded. We will do everything to make the city and the untility services work effectively, so that there is no panic."
Vadym Boychenko says the occupiers continue to use heavy artillery against residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
"They are killing Mariupol women, children and the elderly, calling it a war of liberation. That's how they free us from 'fascism.' They are just cynics who have nothing sacred," Boychenko said.
Today, the Ukrainian defenders shot down the Russian plane which fired at Sartana and Mariupol.
