Yesterday, on February 28, Russian strategic bomber-missile carrier Tu-22m3, without crossing the state border, struck Kharkiv residential districts with high-precision weapons - air-to-surface
missiles as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The bomber made four rounds on the Besedino (Kursk oblast) - Belgorod route, firing around 16 missiles at the defenseless city. “Fascism and genocide! This is what people call the actions of
the “brotherly nation” now in Kharkiv. BM-30 Smerch hits, bombarding residential districts, shelling the central square and city administrations - and those are only the things that made it to the
smartphones of the eyewitnesses. In reality, war crimes of Putin’s regime in Kharkiv are much larger,” stressed the General Staff.

The horrific aftermath of the missile strike by “rascists” (Russian fascists) was recorded by locals. High-rises, schools, kindergartens, and other infrastructure
are destroyed. According to preliminary data, dozens of Kharkiv residents died from aviation attacks, including children. Air Force reported this crime against humanity at a timestamp from 19:07
to 19:51, 28 February 2022. In due time the materials will be sent to the Hague. “Unfortunately, in the situation being as it is, it is very challenging for the Air Force to shield the sky in
this region because some of the country’s air defense system was destroyed with the Russian’s ballistic and cruise missiles. Occupiers do not dare to storm the city, so they resorted to air
terrorism,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

Yesterday, during most of the day enemy was shelling Kharkiv with MRLS “Grad”. The fire was open at the
civil infrastructure; people who left the shelters to get water had died. Eighty-seven houses were destroyed, at least 11 people killed, more than 100 injured. The shelling of Kharkiv is a war
crime, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed. Dozens of recordings from eyewitnesses prove that it was not a single false volley but deliberate destruction of people. Russians knew where
they were shooting. Zelenskyy stressed that there would definitely be a tribunal for this crime. On March 1,
Russian forces shelled Kharkiv’s civilian infrastructure again. This time also with missiles. There are victims and
injured.
