During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one Russian helicopter and one aircraft, as well as struck 4 times on columns of enemy military vehicles.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of AFU;
"The air force is resisting the occupiers in all air garrisons. For today, 1 March 2022, the air defense forces, the anti-aircraft missile unit, destroyed one helicopter and one occupant aircraft. Su-25 attack aircraft crews and Su-24 bombers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine jointly inflicted four air strikes on tanks columns, military armored vehicles and other targets," - says the statement.
Today the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 5 Russian fighters, by "bayraktars" they also destroyed two Buk Ground Force Air Defense Systems.
Let us remind you that on 25 February 2022, the Air Force significantly increased the losses on the Russian occupiers - Ukraine's Air Defense system destroyed about 15 enemy aircraft, dozens of Caliber cruise missiles, and Iskander operational-tactical missiles.
