Viktor Yanukovych, the fugitive president, is currently in Minsk. Kremlin is preparing him for a special operation. According to one of the scenarios, in Belarus, Yanukovych will be attempted to be declared “President of Ukraine.” “Ukrainian Pravda” media reports it citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence. 

“The information received indicated that Kremlin may be preparing some sort of informational operation or an action to return ex-president Yanukovych to Ukraine, or releasing an address from him to Ukrainian people,” says the statement. 

The day before, the Minister of Defense, Oleksii Reznikov, warned Ukrainians about the occupiers’ plans to disrupt the connections and declare the capitulation of the Ukrainian government. 

Around 17:18, on March 1, the enemy has hit Kyiv TV tower, TV channels have stopped broadcasting for some time. 

The occupiers also hit the “Babyn Yar” Memorial site. 

As a result of the attack on Kyiv TV Tower, five people died, five more were injured. “Babyn Yar” was also damaged.
