On 1st of March, Oleksiy Reznikov - Ukrainian Minister of Defense had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
In the morning of the 2nd of March Reznikov informed this in his message to Ukrainians.
"Even experienced American soldiers are delighted with the professionalism of our defenders and the resilience of Ukrainian people," he said.
Referring to the head of the Ministry of Defense, the amount of assistance that Ukraine receives is increasing.
"The number of countries that provide assistance to Ukraine is increasing. Even those countries whose joining was considered as an impossible one" emphasized the Minister.
Reznikov informed that new bayraktars had already arrived in Ukraine and were on combat duty.
"There will be more stinger and javelin missiles," the Minister of Defense said.
He emphasized that Europe is becoming our back area and supplying what is critical for defense.
"We are at the forefront of the free world. I am proud of everyone who defends their home from the Russian invasion today. I bow my head to those who gave their lives. After our victory we will honor their memory and through the centuries later the Ukrainians will continue to honor the heroes of Gostomel, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy, Schastya, Volnovakha, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Okhtyrka and other cities, as we honor our heroic ancestors starting with the chronicle princes" added Reznikov.
