“Russian troops land in Mykolaiv to shoot to kill”, the head of Mykolaiv Regional Administration Vitaliy Kim said

A curfew is declared in the city, people are asked to stay in bomb shelters until further notice.

Russian troops landed in the village of Balovne near Mykolaiv city. People are asked to leave the streets, a curfew is declared.

"4 helicopters are landing near the village of Balovne. I am declaring a curfew until further notice. All must leave the street," Kim said in Telegram.

He also said that there have been some battles near Kalynivka ongoing, but they were defeated. Part of enemy troops went back towards Bashtanka. 

“The militants are working. There is no enemy in Mykolaiv as of now," Kim said.

Kim added, that the enemy troops landed and are ready to shoot to kill. Air raid siren was declared and people were ordered to move to bomb shelters. 

Later he said that enemy planes flew from Sevastopol towards Mykolaiv.

As of 2 March, Kim said that the offensive operation of the Ukrainian army was successful.

“Orks got offended, the enemy troops left the village of Snigurivky. Though, they are still making some moves”, - Kim said.

As it turned out after Kim’s statement, the enemy troop were defeated.
