Aboard train No. 6 from Mariupol to Rakhiv, passengers and railway employees caught a saboteur together, according to the press office of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways).
“Every saboteur who dares to board a Ukrainian train will be given the same welcome. Aboard train No. 6, carriage 7, passengers and railway employees caught a saboteur together,” reports Ukrzaliznytsia.
The man was reportedly caught because of his reckless attempt to promote the “Russian world” and rally passengers against “benderovtsy” in Lviv Oblast, which is historically renowned for its patriotism. The passenger who thus broke the rules of conduct aboard a train under martial law was caught, restrained and transferred to law enforcement officers in Dubno.
“Since the introduction of martial law, Ukrzaliznytsia has been prioritizing passenger security. It applies to information security as well,” stressed the company.
Ukrainian Railways urge passengers to notify carriage attendants if they notice anyone behaving suspiciously.
“They know what to do with sleeper agents and saboteurs alike,” says Ukrzaliznytsia’s press office.
