Kyiv regional police are investigating a checkpoint shooting in the Fastiv area
The shooting left five people are dead, one wounded.
According to the release, the invaders used military equipment, possibly a machine gun, to open fire on the village of Yasnogorodka, part of the Byshiv local community.
The police are investigating the details of the attack.
As reported earlier today, during a civilian evacuation, Russian forces shelled a bridge in Irpin, Kyiv region, using 122 caliber mortars, killing eight civilians.
