Mykolaiv International Airport is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, confirmed the Governor of Mykolaiv Oblast, Vitaliy Kim.
"The airport is ours. We fought and got it back. Now, we are consolidating our positions here," he said.
Kim added that the Ukrainian army also fought back in other directions.
“They went in other directions with less force. [The occupiers were like] confused little hedgehogs running here through the bushes. They don't know what to do. Now we will find them all," Kim added.
As reported earlier, this morning the occupiers struck Mykolaiv with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) “BM-30 Smerch”. There were five fires in the residential area and in industrial facilities (State Enterprise Gas Turbine Research & Production Complex “Zorya”-“Mashproekt”).
