The most difficult situation with the life-support systems of people is in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region.
The construction of the State Emergency Service on the 8th of March states this.
"Currently the most difficult situation in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region. The situation in the settlements of Buchansky district is uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities; the occupiers have created a humanitarian disaster. No access to human settlements (Bucha, Vorzel, Irpin, Mykhailivska Rubezhivka, Hostomel, Borodianka, Shybene, Nove Zalissia, Krasnyi Rig, Makariv, Kolonshyna, Kopyliv, Severynivka, Berezivka, Plahtianka, Chervona Hirka, Gavronshyna, Nemishaeivo, Mykulychi, Poroskoten, Klavdiievo-Tarasove, Myla, Hurivshchyna) in connection with the invaders' occupation". – says the statement.
As noted in the State Emergency Service, Russian occupiers have deployed checkpoints in these settlements' territory and are shelling homes and infrastructure. The hostilities continue. According to residents, invaders carry out looting, murder, rape of civilians, passport control of our citizens.
For almost a week, there is no life support for the population in the settlements; the occupiers block all possible routes for the supply of water, food, and medicine. According to operational information, about 4,400 people need evacuation. They still are in protective buildings, basements of residential buildings, facilities, dacha cooperatives, and under rubble.
As the Ministry clarified, the difficult humanitarian situation is also observed in connection with the blockade of cities by the occupiers and the absence of green corridors, particularly:
-
Donetsk - in Mariupol and Volnovakha, there is no electricity supply and communication.
-
Lugansk - Lysychansk, Swatove, Starobilsk, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk (the citizens appeal about the lack of food).
-
Zaporizhia region - due to the encirclement of the Energodar city, may complicate the humanitarian situation.
-
Kherson region - in connection with the encirclement of the settlements of Kherson, Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka, Beryslav may complicate the humanitarian situation.
We remind that on the 8th of March, the Russian army again shelled the Bucha Kyiv region. The city is under siege.
It is also known that Russian occupiers block aid to civilians in the Kyiv region.
On the 6th of March, the Buchansky City Council appealed to the leadership of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and the Ministry of Defense to save the community's inhabitants.
