For the past 24 hours, eleven fires with eight of them in housing sector occurred after the enemy attacks in Mykolayiv region.

Four civilians were killed in the shelling. Data on victims and injured are being clarified, as reported by the State Emergency Service’s press service.

Eight people were evacuated from the fires, another five were released from the rubble.

“Two pyrotechnic groups removed 15 munitions from the residential sector,” the SES said.

Yesterday the enemy fiercely attacked Mykolayiv region. From the very morning, the Russians opened fire at the central city of the region from BM-30 Smerch, and during the day tried to capture the local airport. The plan failed. Ukrainian defenders repulsed Russia’s attacks. The chairman of Mykolayiv regional state administration Vitaliy Kim reported that the defenders of Mykolayiv twice repulsed attacks of the Russian invaders during the day on 7 March.
