The Territorial Defense website sprotyv.in.ua faced 540,000 cyberattacks during the first week of the war with Russia.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the Territorial Defense of Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"There were 4,000 targeted attacks of the highest level. The main source is Rashka (Russia). In total, our website did not work for 29 minutes, which did not prevent thousands of Ukrainians from joining the Territorial Defense Forces," the TD of Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement.
As previously reported, 100,000 Ukrainians have joined the Territorial Defense since the beginning of the Russian invasion on 24 February. After the end of the war, terrorist defense will become part of Ukraine's defense system.
On 8 March, the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces defeated a Russian landing party of 120 people in the Kharkiv region. Most of the enemy’s landing troops were eliminated at the landing site, the rest fled to the Belgorod region of Russia.
