The former Minister of Defense of Georgia joins the International Legion

The Former Minister has joined the ranks of volunteers to defend Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Irakli Okruashvili, together with Georgian volunteers in Ukraine helps us fight the Russian occupiers!" - it is said in the message.

Irakli Okruashvili headed the Georgian Ministry of Defense in 2004-2006. Prior to that, he served as Minister of the Internal Affairs.

As earlier reported, several thousand foreign citizens have already joined the International Legion in Ukraine.
