Today, the evacuation of the population from the city of Irpin in the Kyiv region is continued. This is stated on the page of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on the social network Facebook.
People are being evacuated on foot through the village Romanivka to the city of Kyiv.
As of 9:30 am more than 150 people were evacuated by efforts of the SES, National Police, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the authorities, and volunteers.
The evacuation continues.
We will remind, that the bridge in Irpin through which civilians are trying to evacuate from the city was intentionally fired by the Russian troops from 122 caliber mortars.
