On March 9, Russian forces shelled 26 residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in the Luhansk region of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Privilege, Rubizhne, and Kreminna.

Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said on its Telegram channel

Four residents of the city of Rubizhne and one in each city of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk died as the result of the shelling.

More than 100 private and multi-storey buildings, a gas station and a railway station were also damaged in the cities and towns of the region.

“Police document the consequences of the shelling, patrol the cities of Luhansk region and help its residents,” the statement read. 

As reported earlier, the Head of Region Military Administration of Luhansk Serhiy Hayday informed about extremely difficult situation in area. According to him, the combat does not stop for a minute. 38 settlements were (completely and partially) cut from electricity. More than 115,000 subscribers were left without electricity. No gas, water or heating.
