Three people died due to an airstrike at the children's hospital in Mariupol on Wednesday, March 9. There is a child among the dead, the press center for the Mariupol city council reports. 

“As of now, we know that after the terrorist bombing by the Russian planes on the children’s hospital in Mariupol, 17 people were injured (children, women, doctors), three died, including one child - a girl,” the statement says. 

Today, on March 10, as a result of the morning shelling of Mariupol, one person has died already. 

“Not a good morning in Mariupol again. Another airstrike in the peaceful city. Today at 8 a.m. near Budivelnykiv avenue, 110 Russian occupation forces fired at Mariupol residents from the planes. According to preliminary information, one person was killed," the City Council said. 

Yesterday the Deputy Mayor, Serhiy Orlov, reported that during the two weeks of the war, 1170 residents died in Mariupol. On March 9, 47 of them were buried in the mass grave

As of midnight, March 8, the UN has counted 516 dead and 908 wounded in Ukraine. However, the actual figures are much higher.
