Russians continue making ultimatums to cease fire they are waging on peaceful Ukrainian citizens. Meaning the demands previously announced by the president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine has not given up and will not give up. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba after the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in Turkey.

“We are ready for diplomacy, but until there have been no diplomatic decisions made – we will keep protecting our land and people from the Russian aggression by sacrifice ourselves ,” the Minister said.

He added, that negotiations in this format would continue when the Russian side is ready for a substantive conversation, rather than spreading its propaganda narratives.

Kuleba added that he was going to the meeting with two tasks: to agree on a humanitarian corridor for the civilians from Mariupol, where the situation became catastrophic due to Russia’s actions, and to agree on at least a one-day truce to cover the needs of the civilians.

“Regarding the first task, I hope Lavrov will communicate with those who make the decisions and the humanitarian corridor will work,” Kuleba said.

He accented that it is impossible to stop the war if the attacking country has no desire to do so.

Negotiations between Kuleba and Lavrov mediated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Chavushohlu, lasted about 1.5 hours. The meeting took place in Antaliya.
