In the Brovary area in the Kyiv region, Ukrainian forces eliminated the commander of the occupiers’ tank regiment, colonel A.Zakharov, the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, reported on its Telegram channel.
“During the warfare in the Brovary area of Kyiv oblast, the battalion tactical group of the 6th tank regiment (Chebarkul) of the 90th division of the Central military district has suffered great personnel and equipment losses. In particular, we eliminated the regiment commander, colonel A.Zakharov,” the statement says.
Due to the significant losses, Russian forces had to retreat and shift to defense.
Earlier, in the Kharkiv region, near Chuhuevo, the Ukrainian military eliminated Major General of the Russian Army, Vitaliy Herasymov.
